Pioneer Trail

The Drumheller Mail - - CLASSIFIEDS - Annette Green

We have really enjoyed the wonderful weather this week, hope it will continue for a few more days if not weeks, I am sure winter will come soon enough.

Members are still calling in at the centre for Crib and Bingo but things are going to start again in September. Get your diaries ready - our regular birthday party for the September and October birthdays is on Tuesday, September 6 at 2:00 pm. Thursday, September 8 Choir will resume at 10:00 am. On the same date, Seniors Bowling at Sandstone Lanes at 1:00 pm and the evening will be the opening of the Bridge Club at 7:00 pm. Further information about these meetings is available at the Pioneer Trail.

We are looking for people to help with quilting, if it’s only for half a day a week. Also in need of a few more hosts or hostesses to help serve in the nearly new shop and make the coffee.

On Wednesday, Sep- tember 7 there will be an EXPO exhibition at the BCF with lots of local businesses promoting their products and services including the BCF and all the different classes and programs held within the building. The Drumheller Travel Club will be included to promote the trips. I am pleased to report that the visit to the Rosebud Theatre and Stage West is now full, but both will be repeated at a later date.
