We are truly sad­dened to an­nounce that on Tues­day, Septem­ber 6, 2016 Lloyd Ed­ward Ziegler had passed away. Lloyd was the sec­ond youngest born to the late Martha and Rein­hold Ziegler on March 17, 1958 in Drumheller, Al­berta. Hav­ing lived in the Drumheller and Car­bon area, many would have known Lloyd as a parts man for many years be­fore he found a pas­sion for driv­ing in his later years. You might have also known Lloyd as a vol­un­teer fire­fighter hav­ing worked with the lo­cal fire de­part­ment. While liv­ing in Drumheller, he was in­volved with many so­cial ac­tiv­i­ties such as play­ing on a soft­ball team, and be­ing a part of the lo­cal pool league. Out­side of these ac­tiv­i­ties, he en­joyed work­ing on project ve­hi­cles, golf­ing, play­ing cards and board games with his friends and fam­ily (only if he won), and spend­ing time with his 3 grand­chil­dren. Lloyd leaves to mourn his wife Ray­lene. Chil­dren Darcy, and Cory. His daugh­ter Jen­nifer with her hus­band Ja­son and their 3 chil­dren Cadence, Averie, and Bent­ley. As well as step chil­dren Mathew, Bobbi and her part­ner Justin. Lloyd leaves be­hind 3 brothers James, Har­vey and his wife Mar­i­lyn along with 2 chil­dren Stephanie and Ash­ley, David and his wife Lil­lian and their 3 chil­dren Joyce, Char­lene and Clay­ton. Lloyd also leaves a sis­ter, Twylia and her hus­band Marvin along with their chil­dren Rhonda, Ti­mothy, Reed, and Drew. Also left be­hind are many great nieces and neph­ews, un­cles and aunts, as well as sev­eral cousins. A fu­neral ser­vice for the late Lloyd Ziegler will be held on Fri­day, Septem­ber 16, 2016 at the Zion Bap­tist church at 2 pm. Court­ney-Win­ter’s Fu­neral Homes are in care of the ar­range­ments.
