Greetings to all...late last night our daughter suddenly perked up and asked... “what’s that noise”? Bob opened the back door and listened for a few seconds and enthusiastically answered... “Combines”! So comforting to go to sleep to the hum of the field machines working away, knowing the weather is holding out and the crop is coming in...carry on harvesters!

And with a start date of September 29, the fun, free, “stay and play” program will be on every Thursday morning from 10:00 – 11:30 at the United Church for all kids ages 0-6...they craft, they sing, they science, they read and do a bunch of other cool stuff. It is a good time for parents and little ones to come and hang out and older siblings are always welcome.

Also with the season of Fall settling in, the Seniors cribbage time will be starting up again this week, September 22, at the Blooming Prairies Drop-in Center in the Morrin Arena, lower level and to the right. They will be all set up for visitors, newcomers, and players ev- ery second Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. with coffee and snacks pro come on down and let the games begin!

Another project set to begin with the first meeting on October 3 at the Morrin School is the 4-H MultiClub. Melanie Nelson (772-0000) will be heading that up again and so far she has volunteers to help with equine, small engines, band, photography, possibly canine and maybe even archery.

And that is about all I have to report today...cheers!
