If your child will be playing hockey in Rockyford this season, please be at the arena this Thursday (September 29), for jersey fittings. Novice player’s will meet at 6 p.m., Atom player’s at 6:30 p.m., Peewee player’s at 7 p.m. and Bantam player’s are at 7:30 p.m. Please make sure you attend.

The Rockyford Friendship Center will be having their next “Soup Day” on Wednesday, October 12 starting at noon. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Join us Tuesday, October 4 at 9:45 at the library for Play & Learn for moms and children from 0 to 5 years old. This is the third week of a six-week drop-in program that focuses on different aspects of child development, including: fine and gross motor skills, communication, problem solving, personal social skills. Come for a visit, to play, and to talk to the professionals about your child’s development.
There is still some space left in the last three sessions of “Improve Your Memoir and Fiction Writing” with Christa Bedwin via Skype at the library. Sessions run from 10 until noon. The Rockyford Library’s first Paint Night in the Village is already full for September 29, but we have great news! There will be another session from 7 to 9 on Thursday, October 20. The registration fee covers instruction and all supplies. Space is limited to 12. This evening is for adults only.
Do your children want to paint? Are they complaining that our paint nights are limited to adults? We have a special session just for them. Kids Can Paint is for those between the ages of 7 and 16. The event will run from 10 until noon on Saturday morning, October 22. Registration is limited to 12. Price includes instruction and all supplies. Rockyford Library is presenting Afternoon at the Movies the first Wednesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. Our first film, on October 5, will be Hatari, starring John Wayne. Free! Bring yourself a snack. We provide the popcorn.
