The big news of the week was the opening of the new community hall on Saturday, October 1 at 5:00. Dignitaries were on hand from UFA, Village of Munson, County of Starland and MP Kevin Sorensen to give greetings and cut the ribbon. Following the speeches a steak bbq and entertainment was enjoyed by a crowd of over 200 people from all over the County. It was nice to see so many people attend and even some residents from years gone by came back to enjoy the big event. The new hall is something we can all be very proud of and will be enjoyed for decades to come.
The Munson 300 Raffle Draw lucky winner for October 1 was Terri Leslie. Congratulations Terri, and thank you for buying a ticket.
