Nazareth Lutheran Church hosted its second annual “Blessing of the Beasts” worship service on October 2. Canella the lab, belonging to Keith and Donna Nelson, stole the pastor’s heart as she jokingly dodged her hand left and right, of course looking for a treat! Nubs the earless rabbit and Lucky the cat regaled the Shepherd School with their tale of tragedy and heroic rescue to new homes! Alexis Klemmensen brought her beautiful Siamese mix cat, Daisy, clearly the apple of her little girl’s eye. Belle, Connie and Darrell Larsen’s heeler was so patient and good as she waited for her blessing. Mark your calendar for the first Sunday in October in 2017 for the next Blessing of the Beasts.
