ber 18. A suggestion was made to try to tailor the Christmas service in the form of a pageant. Young people ages three to high school are needed to participate. The event would be organized so there would be minimal practices ahead of time. Any families interested in participating should call Bev at 403-665-2492.
The next Historic Society meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:00 pm in the church basement.
The last pancake breakfast on October 2 had a decent attendance and all enjoyed great food. Although there was a shortage of ‘kitchen’ staff, with the capable help of Erin and Carson Bergman, the breakfast went off without a hitch. The draw was won by Leo Johnson. The next breakfast will be held on November 6 from 9:00-11:00 am.
Sincere condolences go out this week to Bob Smyth; Rob Smyth; Pat and Kim Smyth and family; and Ben and Tanya Smyth and family on the recent passing of Eileen. Eileen, who was an active and vital part of the Victor, Craigmyle, Byemoor and Delia communities will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. She will always be remembered for her joviality, her genuineness her culinary skills and her beautiful quilting.
