ber 18. A sug­ges­tion was made to try to tai­lor the Christ­mas ser­vice in the form of a pageant. Young peo­ple ages three to high school are needed to par­tic­i­pate. The event would be or­ga­nized so there would be min­i­mal prac­tices ahead of time. Any fam­i­lies in­ter­ested in par­tic­i­pat­ing should call Bev at 403-665-2492.

The next His­toric So­ci­ety meet­ing will be held on Tues­day, October 18 at 7:00 pm in the church base­ment.

The last pan­cake break­fast on October 2 had a de­cent at­ten­dance and all en­joyed great food. Al­though there was a short­age of ‘kitchen’ staff, with the ca­pa­ble help of Erin and Car­son Bergman, the break­fast went off with­out a hitch. The draw was won by Leo Johnson. The next break­fast will be held on Novem­ber 6 from 9:00-11:00 am.

Sin­cere con­do­lences go out this week to Bob Smyth; Rob Smyth; Pat and Kim Smyth and fam­ily; and Ben and Tanya Smyth and fam­ily on the re­cent pass­ing of Eileen. Eileen, who was an ac­tive and vi­tal part of the Vic­tor, Craigmyle, Bye­moor and Delia com­mu­ni­ties will be sadly missed by her fam­ily and many friends. She will al­ways be re­mem­bered for her jovi­al­ity, her gen­uine­ness her culi­nary skills and her beau­ti­ful quilt­ing.

Birth­day greet­ings go out to Tay­lor Kent­ner on October 14 and to Lor­raine DeGiano, Carla Len­festy and Erica Mor­lock all shar­ing October 19. Also on October 19, Happy An­niver­sary to Jim and Leah Hunter. Have a great day!
