He's has lots of fast MRIs that were quick and didn't need sedating.” Nikki said, “This one was two hours and he had to be sedated for it.”

During the MRI they found a few cysts in his back and the MRI images were sent to his fetal surgeon in Philadelphia to view and decide if they need to be surgically removed.

“We will be able to do the surgery at Alberta Children's Hospital if it's needed, but we need the fetal surgeon's opinion since the Children’s Hospital doesn't have very many fetal surgery kids.” Nikki told the Mail.

“Despite all that, he is doing quite well!” Nikki said, “He enjoys running around with his walker outside, chasing his sisters and the neighbour girls, and being a pretty typical boy!”
