Pronghorn wins Canada’s Safest Employer Award

On October 24 Pronghorn was honoured with a Canada’s Safest Employer Award. Canadian Occupational Safety’s national awards program, now in its 6th year, recognizes employers with exceptional health and safety, wellness and psychological safety practices. This award is presented to employers who have a strong safety culture and promote the health and safety of their people. There are several different industry categories and Pronghorn was a silver winner in the Oil & Gas category. Pronghorn also won awards in 2015 and 2012.
The Gala Banquet was hosted in Toronto by Canadian Occupational Safety. In at- tendance at the awards were Yves Tremblay, President and CEO, Vince Johannson (QHSE Manager), Tyler Hansen (Regional Manager, South/Combustion Services Manager), Justin Fletcher (District Manager, Taber) and two Pronghorn employees selected for their dedication and commitment to promoting a leading edge safety culture: Dave Paget (Drumheller) and Shane Gowan (Nisku). Yves Tremblay who accepted the award on behalf of Pronghorn said, “I am very proud of Pronghorn’s safety culture and the team work it takes to receive this prestigious award as it takes the efforts of all of our employees to achieve the safety milestones and successes we have experienced.”
