This warm weather feels darn good. It’s nice to see combines rolling and to know most farmers are close to finishing up.
The Munson 300 Raffle Draw lucky winner for November 5 was Flo Moffat of Drumheller. Congratulations Flo. Thank you for buying a ticket and supporting the project.
There is no school this week but volleyball is wrapping up with Junior High zones. The boys will be at Prairie Christian Academy in Three Hills on Friday. The Senior Girls will be at regionals in Rosemary on Friday. Go Mustangs Go.
There is new outdoor fitness equipment being installed at the school playground this week. What a great addition to the school fitness equipment and our communi- ty. It is available for everyone to use so get out there and develop your own bootcamp!
Remember November is Diabetes Awareness Month, and this is your diabetes fact for the week. All people with Type 1 diabetes require insulin and many Type 2 diabetics require insulin to manage their glucose levels. The key to healthy living is eating well, with healthy snacks and meals. Take care of yourself. The Morrin Lions will be holding a public information session the evening of Tuesday, November 22 at the Morrin hall. The evening will include information on types of diabetes, prediabetes, exercise and nutrition.
Mark your calendars: the Morrin Santa Breakfast will be December 4 at the Morrin Hall and the Munson Santa Breakfast will be on De- cember 18.
Be careful on the highways and in the fields as harvest wraps up with this warm weather.
No matter what you are doing November 11, be sure to take a moment to think of those who sacrificed for us to have the good life that we enjoy. Have a good week.
