Heartland Hearing is expanding!

The Drumheller Mail - - NEWS -

Hi there! My name is Dr. Lisa Lopez. I purchased Heartland Hearing in Stettler in January of 2015, and now I am excited to announce we are expanding our services to Drumheller! I have been an Audiologist for over 20 years and have worked in a variety of different settings including government, university, private practice, and manufacturing. I have experience working for two different manufacturers of hearing aids and my job included assisting clinicians across Canada with those “difficult-to-fit” clients. In addition, I owned and operated two successful audiology practices in Calgary prior to coming to Stettler which seemed like the perfect fit for my goal of a quieter lifestyle!

I have a Doctorate in Audiology from Central Michigan University, I am a faculty member at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, and I recently completed a certificate in Advanced Studies in Vestibular Disorders and Sciences from Salus University in PA. Audiology is truly my passion! Selecting appropriate amplification products, proper counseling and compassion allow the fitting of hearing aids to literally change a person’s perception and communicative experience! I am also hearing impaired, and I do believe this allows for a unique perspective in the overall experience. I have a genuine desire to ensure patient satisfaction, and I do hope you will take the opportunity to visit one of my clinics if you feel you are not hearing the way you deserve! In my spare time, I enjoy biking, boating, camping, hiking, and travel. My canine companions are often with me wherever the roads may take us (Annie and Sophie). I am excited to continue to serve the Stettler community and equally excited to welcome clients to our Drumheller location in the downtown Century 21 office.
