Hey! Happy that harvest is happening and hopes for heaps ha ha! Finally some fantastic weather to end this season and give our hardworking farmers a break to get it done and some rest.

And first off, reminder...tonight...Wednesday, Nov. 16, the Annual General meeting for Drumheller Rural crime watch committee is on and will be held at the Diana Restaurant...supper at 6:00 p.m. and meeting at 7:00 p.m. and you don’t have to come ‘til the meeting starts if you like.

Also the Diabetes Awareness meeting is coming up at the Hall on Tuesday, November 22 also starting at 7:00 p.m. and they will have Alberta Healthcare info and workers on hand and snacks and door prizes and helpful tips on diet, exercise, recipes and other good stuff, so come on out.

And Morrin Christmas Market is on next Sunday, November 20 at the Morrin Community Hall from 11:00 – 3:00 p.m.

The elementary kids sang “Somewhere over the rainbow” at the School Remembrance Day Service. There is a line in the song...”and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true”. As I practiced with the kids I told them to write out their best dream ever and give it to me so I could tell you all in the Morrin news about their dreams and there are SO many great dreams! I later learned from office admin worker Mrs. Wilkins “dreams” is the Morrin School theme this year. Each week I will tell you some of the great dreams rolling around in the precious minds of these young boys and girls at the Morrin School.

So here we go....“PBR Bullrider is biggest (star, star, star with a very good pencil drawn cowboy picture)”...“I want to be a dolphin trainer”.... “NHL player”... “my dream is to be a police officer”... “a professional in History”.

And that is a start...I will post a few more each week until I run out and give you all a positive glimpse into the dreaming minds of our children and perhaps bring you inspiration and a for me...Cheers!
