The Drumheller Mail - - NEWS -

Joy McKee and Joan Snyder extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has expressed interest in our amazing trip- of-a-lifetime to the Netherlands - specifically, the beautiful city of Nijmegen, Holland, and the Reichswald Forest, Germany. The conversations with freinds, neighbours and acquaintances have been very special for us. We are so pleased to share our “Reality Adventure on a Mysterious Quest” in this way as well as via printed and live radio media interviews. Our hearts are very full. As amazing and exciting though it may be, we would hope and suggest that several historical war stories pertaining, for instance, to the Anderson family of Craigmyle, have endured the tragically heartbreaking loss of three sons - the first-born and twins - and Samuel Poxon - all featured in the Remembrance issue of The Drumheller Mail - be held in remembrance of their extreme sacrifice of their lives - over our story; with after 70 plus years, a happy ending and our father having come home unscathed. We will be forever grateful to those individuals who continue to passionately search for artifacts, research military history and speak with families in order to extol the bravery of men and women who valiantly and with hope for the future, serve in the military for their country.
