There will be a Christ­mas Tea at the Rock­y­ford Friendship Cen­tre on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 3 from 2-4 p.m. There will be a craft and bake ta­ble, a si­lent auc­tion and en­ter­tain­ment. Ev­ery­one is wel­come to at­tend.

The Christ­mas Flower Ar­rang­ing course is be­ing held on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 7 from 1-3 p.m. To reg­is­ter for this, please call Gail at 533-2411.

The next “Soup Day” will be on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 14 from noon to 1 p.m. They will be of­fer­ing soup, buns, dessert, tea and cof­fee.

Novem­ber 26 is the last writ­ing ses­sion for Na­tional Novel Writ­ing Month (NaNoWriMo). Join other writ­ers from 10 a.m. ‘til 3 p.m. at Three Hills Li­brary. The NaNoWriMo wrap-up party will be held at Drumheller Li­brary on De­cem­ber 3 at 2 p.m.

Hope Bridges So­ci­ety brings their clay work­shop to Rock­y­ford Li­brary over two ses­sions, from 4:30 p.m. ‘til 6:30 p.m., on Novem­ber 30 (to start your project) and De­cem­ber 14 (to glaze it). Call Hope Bridges at 403 983 3640 for more in­for­ma­tion and to reg­is­ter.

Paint a snow­man without get­ting cold at Paint Night in the Vil­lage on De­cem­ber 1, from 7 p.m. ‘til 9 p.m. Open to ages 16+. Whether you’re a be­gin­ner or de­vel­op­ing your paint­ing skills, this is a fun night for ev­ery­one. Reg­is­ter at Rock­y­ford Li­brary.

Make your own salt scrub in a decorative jar at Craft and Con­nect. All ages are wel­come to this free event on De­cem­ber 6, from 1 p.m. ‘til 2:30 p.m., at the Rock­y­ford Li­brary.
