Dianne Taubert and Lois Thompson went to the Celtic Thunder concert held at the Grey Eagle Casino. Also there from Hussar were Ben and Terry Armstrong, and Hugh and Winnie Peake and Videll Arsneault and Connie Williams. They enjoyed the show.
A new healthy living / weight loss group has been formed in our community. New Be- ginnings will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at the Hussar Hall. All are welcome to attend. The focus of our group will be healthy living not just on weight loss. Please feel free to attend.
Kim Sandum celebrated a special birthday on Grey Cup Sunday. A surprise party was held in her honor. They celebrated at the farm with many family and friends in attendance.
A small crowd attended the Hussar Turkey Curl on Friday November 25. About 75 turkeys were won throughout the night.
Brad Dundas spent the week showing his cattle at Agribition in Regina.
Blair and Rachel Dundas’ new home arrived after a few fog delays. They hope to be moving in by the New Year.
Get well wishes for speedy recovery from his recent hip surgery to Jurgen Schempp.
Light Up the Night December 3. The Hussar special events committee will begin the afternoon with two teams of horses pulling wagons for hay rides and Christmas carols. They also will be serving free hotdogs and hot chocolate. The Hussar fire department will be bringing Santa to see all the children and lights at around 6 pm, and that’s when we will ‘light up the night’.
The Hussar trip club will be selling luminar- ies dedicated to past loved ones, to light the path as we walk looking at the lights, please get your orders in before December 3. Contact one of the trip club members if you’re interested in buying luminaries.
