Rock­y­ford’s An­nual “Christ- mas Com­mo­tion” will be held on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 17 from 1 -5 p.m. This com­pli­men­tary event will take place at the Rock­y­ford Sport­splex. There will be a craft mar­ket from 1-5 p.m., Kid’s Curl­ing at 2 p.m., bake sale 1-4 p.m., Sleigh Rides from 2-4 p.m., Skat­ing 1:15-3:15 p.m., a Silent Auc­tion 1-4 p.m., Turkey Curl 2:30-4:00, Crafts 1-3 p.m., Adult Games 3-5 p.m., a Bon­fire and snacks 1-4 p.m., Door Prizes and a Spe­cial Guest Ap­pear­ance. Please call the Vil­lage Of­fice at (403)533-3950 to re­serve a pri­vate visit with Santa later that evening. Santa will be tour­ing our Vil­lage in a fire truck and would love to stop by your home. En­joy this fun, family themed event.

The Pho­tog­ra­phy Club re­turns on De­cem­ber 15 at 6:30 p.m. This small, friendly group meets ev­ery month at the Rock­y­ford Li­brary to share and dis­cuss pho­tos, tech­niques, and chat with other like-minded pho­tog­ra­phers.

Free to at­tend, and please bring pho­tos on a USB stick if you wish to show them.

Join Rock­y­ford Li­brary on De­cem­ber 21 at 7 p.m. to make your very own wel­come sign. Regis­tra­tion in­cludes all ma­te­ri­als. Call Rock­y­ford Li­brary at 403 533 3964 as space is limited.
