Our Coyote team is comprised of both veterans and first time players. Teagan & Tori Adamcewicz play for this team. The girls played hard and battled to close finishes! Great fun was had by all including spectators! Coach Baxter sees the development of a solid team with successes throughout the season.

Congratulations to the Bassano Outlaws Peewee team for winning GOLD in the Sundre Tournament, December 9-11. Players on the team from Hussar are Dustin Holm, Jason Slemko, Cadin Hiebert, Emmitt Filkohazy, Dayne Collett, Tristen and Chase Fraser. Congratulations boys!!

The Hussar Fireworks U14 Ringette team brought home silver medals from the Cochrane tournament on the December 10/11 weekend. The girls played Friday and won their game against Red Deer. They spent Saturday morning swimming, shopping and enjoyed the Trolls movie. We lost our game Saturday night against Cochrane but came out strong on Sunday morning with a win against Airdre to put them in the B side final Sunday afternoon. They came up against Cochrane again, played hard but lost a hard fought battle 6-4 which brought home silver. What a great weekend girls!

Strathmore Midget Storm T1 played in Calgary in a tournament over December 9-11. Cort Armstrong and Bailey Filkohazy both play for this team and Clay Armstrong helps coach. They had some close games but we’re not successful. As usual, the boys enjoyed playing and gained some more experience. This coming weekend they play in Airdrie Saturday night and in Hussar Sunday at 6pm.
