The Drumheller Mail - - NEWS - Annette Green

May I start this week by wishing all our members and friends a very happy Christmas and a healthy and enjoyable New Year.

Last week our quilting team was pleased to present 11 quilts to the Grace House. It has become a tradition to donate quilts to them and the team is pleased to do this every year.

On Friday it was time again for the annual DVSS Christmas lunch attended by nearly 400 people and as usual the lunch and entertainment was enjoyed by all. A big thank you to Mr. LaPierre, the students and staff for the wonderful welcome.

We are looking forward to the New Year with the Birthday Party on Tuesday, January 3 at 2:00 pm. Come along and help celebrate those with birthdays in January and February.

As we all went to several dinners in December, our Christmas Dinner is to be held on Tuesday, January 10, tickets are now on sale. These can be purchased at the centre or from members. Please note numbers are limited.

All the activities will be back as normal in the New Year.
