The Drumheller Mail - - YEAR IN REVIEW 2016 - Sub­mit­ted

de­signed and planted by re­tired teacher Mrs. Rox­anne Rus­sell, con­tin­ues to thrive. This gar­den is weeded and main­tained by stu­dents and teach­ers with the pur­pose of teach­ing stu­dents how to grow a gar­den.

Mor­rin is a vil­lage lo­cated 26 kilo­me­ters north of The town of Drumheller. With a pop­u­la­tion of 245, Mor­rin is an ac­tive com­mu­nity with vol­un­teers that or­ga­nize ac­tiv­i­ties for all ages. From the 4H Multi-Club to the Bloom­ing Prairie's Se­niors there is some­thing for ev­ery­body. Mor­rin also has a strong Li­ons Club, Ag So­ci­ety, Sod House Com­mit­tee, and Mor­rin Com­mu­nity Hall As­so­ci­a­tion.

The Vil­lage of Mor­rin is look­ing for­ward to 2017 with im­prove­ments to its in­fra­struc­ture for res­i­dents.
