Mary Lambert, Juno Nominee and Parent’s Choice winner, entertained families during Family Literacy Day. The free concert was part of the pajama party and put on by Drumheller Family Literacy in partnership with the Drumheller Early Childhood Coalition as well as the Family Fun Committee.

Laura Armstrong of Drumheller Family Literacy, said, “We at Family Literacy are very pleased with all the families who chose to join us in support of Family Literacy Day. All the children in attendance were so wonderfully behaved and everyone benefited from Mary Lambert’s upbeat musical concert. We always remind parents that rhymers will be readers and we certainly heard some fantastic little singers on Saturday.”

“It is great to see families come out and play together. We know children learn through play and as adults we need to honour that need.” Louise Henrickson, of Drumheller Family Literacy, said. Mary Lambert entertained and engaged both the young and old during the Drumheller Family Literacy Day pajama party. Dad, Matt Hayes does actions with Mary Lambert to the song, Where’s My Flicker.
