Hanna will be treated to a preface of Send Me no Flow- ers by actor Finlay Curry. “Send Me No Flowers” will be the third production in as many communities for veteran actor Currie. “I have done it twice before in two different communities. It is interesting to see the minor changes between the performances,” he said.

Appearing as Arnold Nash, best friend and neighbor of George Kimball, Finlay Currie puts a lot of preparation into developing his character. “I try to build my character as if I have been living the character for my entire life. Where were they born, what life experiences have they had to bring them to this moment in time?” he asks. Hanna audiences will no doubt enjoy this character, as Currie puts his personal flavour to the mix. When asked why the play appealed to him, he responded, “It is a very clean and funny play”. Why not treat yourself to an evening of great food and entertainment by attending “Send Me No Flowers” in Hanna March 10, 11, 17 and 18th at the Hanna Community Centre! Tickets are available at Chinook Financial.

Finlay Currie will be appearing in “Send Me No Flowers” in Hanna.
