The Mun­son 300 Raf­fle Draw win­ner for Fe­bru­ary 25 was Cindy Dodd. Con­grat­u­la­tions, Cindy won last year too thank you for sup­port­ing the Com­mu­nity As­so­ci­a­tion.

On March 7, is the Mun­son and Area Com­mu­nity As­so­ci­a­tion An­nual Gen­eral Meet­ing start­ing at 7:00. Ev­ery­one is wel­come and we are al­ways look­ing for new board mem­bers to vol­un­teer their time to our com­mu­nity and great new fa­cil­ity.

The Mor­rin School is go­ing to Rose­bud Theatre on Fri­day, March 3. Bas­ket­ball is wrap­ping up with the Ju­nior High boys last home game on Wed­nes­day. The big ex­cite­ment is the Se­nior High Girls curl­ing team are headed to ASAA curl­ing provin­cials in Leth­bridge this week­end. Good luck ladies, you make us very proud.

The Mor­rin ECS registration for Septem­ber 2017 will be tak­ing place from now un­til March 8th. If you have an ECS aged child (age 5 prior to De­cem­ber 31, 2017) and you in­tend to en­roll at Mor­rin School please con­tact the school to reg­is­ter. There will be an open house on March 8. Next week is the Rum­sey Mixed Bon­spiel, that is al­ways an in­di­ca­tor of the end of the sea­son. Don’t for­get oys­ter night will be Thurs­day, March 9, that will be the last oys­ter night for the year.

Our heart­felt con­do­lences are sent to the fam­ily of Ge­orge Michie of Row­ley who passed away last week. Ge­orge’s heart­warm­ing smile and laugh won’t soon be for­got­ten. He was taken from us far too soon.
