Hello you good folk. I’m back from my hiatus and my thanks to Donna for taking over for me.

Birthday greetings go to Blaine Ferguson March 2, Alisha Ferguson March 8, Kirsti Bell March 16. There are no anniversaries in March.

If you heard rumours that we were not going to change to Daylight Savings Time, you heard wrong. It is before Parliament for a vote but has not been presented as yet so change your clock before you go to bed on Saturday, March 11. Personally, I don’t see much problem with time change but some folk consider it a major threat to something... not sure what though. I heard the rumour too so called Mr. Strankman’s office to find out for sure. No change for now and you can call your MLA to voice your opinion. Might be a good idea.

Do you think Mother Nature is ever going to run out of snow?

Seems we just get clima-tized to clear roads and walks and then we have to start over again. We’re certainly better off than most parts of Canada so I don’t really complain too much.

Don’t forget to wear something green on March 17 to honour dear old St. Patrick. It’s been known you could find green beer at some places too.

Something to think about: You grow up the first day you have your first real laugh - at yourself.

Have a good week everyone.
