Oops some­one made an er­ror in the last news item. Dal­las Roessler played the pi­ano and Mar­cel Augey played the banjo for our birth­day party.

Bridge was en­joyed Thurs­day, March 16. 1st Muriel and Don MacDer­mid (5100). 2nd Jennie DeMille and Don Robert­son (3720). 3rd He­len Peers and Beryle Sig­fusson (2440).

On Mon­day, March 13 Joanne Moul­ton, Ernie Web­ster and Fred Day­man went to the Sun­shine Lodge and played some old time songs for the res­i­dents there.

“Mus­tard Seed” for the needy in Cal­gary is in need of soaps, sham­poo’s, lo­tions, etc if you would care to do­nate some of these ar­ti­cles, please drop them off at the Heart­wood Inn or the Pi­o­neer Trail Cen­tre.

Fri­day, March 17 we had our an­nual St. Pa­trick’s Day lun­cheon, which was very suc­cess­ful, home-made stew and all the trim­mings was served. A big thank you to all the peo­ple who do­nated veg­eta­bles, etc. Also to all the vol­un­teers who helped serve and cleaned up af­ter.

Our monthly meet­ing will be held Tues­day, March 28 at 2:00 pm, please make an ef­fort to at­tend.
