Phil­har­monic Or­ches­tra Rus­sian Masters: Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev. The theme was “Story of an Im­pos­si­ble Love”. Plus a few other selections. This trip was ar­ranged by the Drumheller Travel Club. This was An­nette’s fi­nal trip as she is go­ing back home to Eng­land. We give a big thanks to her for or­ga­niz­ing this and the many other trips in the past, we wish her well in the fu­ture. The Travel Group held their meet­ing March 24 and de­cided to con­tinue on. A meet­ing will be held at a later date to elect of­fi­cers.

Sun­day, March 26, Jim Mil­man, Bar­bara and Michael Barker and San­dra Irvin made a mixed team for five pin bowl­ing, play­ing at the Chi­nook Bowl­ing Lanes in Cal­gary for the zones. The team came in 2nd place out of 15 teams, they are now go­ing on to play in the Provin­cials in Leth­bridge at the end of April. Nice go­ing and good luck!
