Hey there! And we seem to be getting through the spring month pretty quick and certainly enjoying the warmer, blue sky, sunshiny days. This is Dr. Bob’s birthday month and we got to celebrate his wonderfulness with some good friends this past Sunday with some yummy home-made fried chicken, Saskatoon pie and lots of laughs...was so fun! I know his patients miss him since he retired from family medicine last May, but my daughter Charly and I and our Loni pup are sure enjoying having him home more... life is good...God is good!

And some news reminders for all, the Lions have some stuff coming up...Easter Ham Bingo is happening on Wednesday, April 12 at the Morrin Community Hall. On an interesting side note, I am told there are many Lions groups all over that have been serving their communities for many years. Our Morrin group is celebrating a big 25 year anniversary on Saturday April 8 and they have the musical team “Great Plains” coming to the Hall to entertain folks for that evening party and will have some goodies on the side. There are still a few tickets floating around for the event. If you haven’t got yours, you still have time to pick them up from the ladies at the Morrin Mountain View Credit Union.

And the Hall has been a busy place...the AG Society put on a great concert-fundraiser-silent auction-dinnerdance party last Saturday with the group “Dueling Pianos” and Dave and Char Benci catered the event with a delicious roast beef meal. The place was packed...food and music was good and a fun time was had by all!

And will end on a little shout-out thank you to Sandy Wolf...she provides such a nice service for Morrin residents with her hair salon in town, and she is always so accommodating and pleasant. So...there you go for today... cheers!
