The Bluejays are back this spring, and we are not talking about the baseball kind. Pick up some unsalted peanuts and throw them in your feeder, they are very entertaining to watch.

A husband takes his wife to her high school reunion. After meeting several of her friends and former school mates, they are sitting at a table where he is yawning and overly bored. The band cranks up and people are beginning to dance.

There's a guy on the dance floor living it large, break dancing, moon walking, back flips, buying drinks for people, the works.

Wife turns to her husband and says, "See that guy? 25 years ago he proposed to me and I turned him down.

Husband says: "Looks like he's still celebrating!!!"

We certainly enjoy watching and hearing about all the troubles President Trump is experiencing in the first few months of taking office, and almost daily there is something new that has to be causing him more and more anxiety. And lately, his daughter Ivanka has a new position, plus an office in the White House. Really, the only positive thing we have seen her do so far, is aerating the White House lawn with her high heel shoes.

Bumped into former resident Walter Linder earlier this week, just as fit as ever, and lives in B.C.

He is still interested in catching up with all his friends from when he was here, and enjoyed the times he had at the ski hill with Don Herman, Ted Earl and many others.

As we covered the ice break-up in the Red Deer River, one has to note not only how thick the ice was, but how quickly the water level rose and the break-up was quite a show. We saw ice 2 feet thick and the force of Mother Nature pushed huge pieces of ice up on the banks that are still there, now melting with the warm weather. Always an exciting event.
