The Rock­y­ford United Church Easter Sun­day ser­vice will be held on April 16 at 10:30 a.m. Ev­ery­one wel­come.

Soup Day at the Friend­ship Cen­ter is Wed­nes­day, April 12 from 12-1 p.m. Soup, buns, dessert, cof­fee or tea is in­cluded in the price.

Come and cre­ate a “Fairy Gar­den”, a fun project at the Friend­ship Cen­ter on Wed­nes­day, April 19 from 1 - 3 p.m. To regis­ter, please give Gail Garvin a call at 533-2411. Dead­line is April 12.

The Friend­ship Cen­ter will be host­ing their Spring Tea on Satur­day, April 29, 2-4 p.m. There will be a bake ta­ble, craft ta­ble, silent auc­tion, jelly bean count for the kids, a door prize and en­ter­tain­ment. Ev­ery­one is wel­come to at­tend.

Birth­day greet­ings to those of you cel­e­brat­ing this week are sent to; Randy Melcher, Er­win Hoelscher, Bon­nie Lintick, Shawn Kathol and to any­one else cel­e­brat­ing a spe­cial oc­ca­sion this week.

Cross­ing stu­dents will be­gin Easter Break on Fri­day, April 14 and they re­turn on Mon­day, April 24.

Regis­ter your child for a fun and cre­ative day camp dur­ing the Easter break at the Rock­y­ford Li­brary. The pro­gram will run Tues­day through Fri­day, April 18 through 21, from 10:00 a.m. un­til 3:00 p.m. Chil­dren be­tween the ages of 6 and 12 (or older) are wel­come.

Dis­cover how to write fic­tion (par­tic­u­larly his­tor­i­cal fic­tion) with au­thor Simon Rose. Join Rock­y­ford Li­brary for the sec­ond of three video-con­fer­ences on Wed­nes­day, April 19, at 6:00 p.m. His­tor­i­cal fic­tion com­bines the events of the past with char­ac­ters and sto­ries from each writer’s imag­i­na­tion. This pro­gram con­tin­ues on May 31.

Thurs­day, April 6, is the next date for Rock­y­ford Li­brary’s Paint Night in the Vil­lage. Reg­is­tra­tion cov­ers all costs of the ses­sion. You just have to show up at 7:00 p.m.! Space is lim­ited, so please pre-regis­ter.
