As I am writing this on Easter Sunday what a lovely day it is after Friday and Saturday wind and snow showers.

April 10 we received word that our dear friend Al Bremer passed away. Sympathy is extended to his wife and family, a service will be held in late May.

April 11 “The Pioneer Trio” Joanne Moulton (piano), Ernie Webster (sax) and Fred Dayman (guitar) was at Continuing Care to entertain the residents with some old time music.

April 13 The Pioneer Singers went to Hillview and Sunshine Lodges, they sang some Easter songs as well as some old time favorites, enjoyed a cup of coffee and a chat at the Sunshine Lodge with their old friends. Joanne Moulton played the piano with George Cels conducting.

Just a reminder of our Crib Tournament Saturday, May 6. Registration 9 am, please phone in your name to the Pioneer Trail as soon as possible 403-823-6565.
