Stettler RCMP seek suspect passing fraudulent cheque

The Drumheller Mail - - NEWS -

Stettler RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to identify a suspect who is alleged to have passed a bad cheque.

On April 12, 2017 a male subject attended a Vision Credit Union in Stettler, Alberta and cashed a fraudulent cheque.

The male then used a fake AB Driver’s Licence as his identification at the bank. The male seen in the driver’s license photograph is believed to be the same person.

The male is described as a caucasian male with a medium build and shorter than averag height. He was wearing a dark sweater with a zipper, dark pants, tan shoes and blue and white hat.

If you have information on this or any other crime contact the Stettler RCMP Detachment at (403) 742-3381 or should you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1.800.222.8477 (TIPS) or by Internet at www.tipsubmit.com.
