Emer­ald Foun­da­tion sup­ports DVSS com­post­ing pi­lot

Drumheller Val­ley Sec­ondary School was cho­sen as one of three Al­berta schools to re­ceive a Youth En­vi­ron­men­tal En­gage­ment Grant this year, en­abling them to start a com­post­ing pro­gram at DVSS, through the Al­berta Emer­ald Foun­da­tion.

Teacher Ja­son Ras­mussen will guide the pro­gram and stu­dents will come up with var­i­ous com­post­ing ini­tia­tives for the school to adopt.
