Delia 4-H Beef Club News

The Drumheller Mail - - SPORTS -

Wednesday, May 3 was the annual Communities in Bloom village clean up in Delia. Our club helped out with the efforts. We are a small crew this year, but there was a ton of support from village residents. It was really nice weather we had to complete the job. We had a few of our club members head out the day before to clean up the campground, Arena complex and ball dia- monds because they couldn’t make the scheduled date. The Communities in Bloom com- mittee supplied us with all the garbage bags and the village garbage truck was parked for all the trash gathered to be tossed in. Dave Sisley was kind enough to make us up detailed and sectioned off maps of the village to make the clean up run smoothly. After the clean up was finished, we gathered at the Delia Drop in Center for some juice, coffee and snacks. We look forward to the clean up every year to help get our village cleaned up for the summer and the Drumheller & District Show and Sale.

The Show & Sale takes place on Monday June 5 at the Delia Arena. Female Show Begins at 9am, Steer Show at 12 noon. There is a Beef supper at the Hall at 5pm and then the Steer Sale in at 7pm back at the Arena. Everybody is Welcome. Please come down and show these 4H members some support for all their hard work.
