Standard Sports Days is this weekend, June 23&24, and what a fun lineup of events are planned. Friday’ s lineup has gymkhana, mini roughstock, softball tournament, and beer gardens. Saturday starts off with breakfast, the parade, golf ball drop, a coffee party at the senior’ s center, quilt show, open house at Nazareth Lutheran, kids zone, mini rough stock, ch ore horse demo, extreme cowboy challenge, softball, supper, beer gardens, and Drew Gregory at the dance. Have a fun and safe weekend to all!

Did you know… Residents of Churchill, Canada, leave their cars unlocked to offer an escape for pedestrians who might encounter polar bears!
What does George Washington, Clark G able and John Wayne have in common? They were all apart of the Masonic Brother hood. The Hussar Lodge is celebrating 95 years in the community. Have you ever wondered what Free masonry is all about? Join your local Mason sat their open house on July 1 from 2–5 pm at the Hussar Ma sonic Lodge, with general information, tours and symbolism explained. There will be face painting and pinwheels for the kids and a draw for a gift basket for those who take a tour. See you there!
The Standard Municipal Library is hosting its annual TD Summer Reading Program. Registration is free and will begin on Monday, June 26. The library is helping prevent summer learning loss with weekly activities, weekly prizes, grand prized raw sand summer reading fun.
