Congratulations to all Hussar students that received academic, athletic and citizenship awards. There are too many to list here – you know who you are and you make our town proud! The end of school is here and the last day for students at Wheatland Crossing is Thursday, June 29. To wrap up the year, the elementary students participated in a variety of field trips. The Grade 1 classes went to the Calgary Zoo. The Grade 2 class went to Heritage Park in Calgary. The Grade 3/4 classes teamed up to travel to Pioneer Acres in Irricana on Tuesday. Finally, to end off the week, both the Grade 5 and 6 classes will spend Wednesday morning swimming at the Bassano Pool and then head to Crawling Valley for a wiener roast to celebrate the end of the school year. On behalf of all the staff and students at Wheatland Crossing, we would like to wish all an enjoyable fun filled summer break. Watch for more school news in late August for school opening dates and activities.
