The Rock­y­ford Li­ons Club “Bull-a-Rama” takes place this Fri­day evening ( June 30). Things get un­der­way with BBQ beef on a bun at 6 p.m., mut­ton bust­ing at 8:30 p.m. with the bull rid­ing at 9 p.m. Fire­works to cel­e­brate Canada Day will be­gin at 11 p.m.

Canada 150 Cel­e­bra­tion will take place at the rodeo grounds on July 1. The day will get started with a com­pli­men­tary pan­cake break­fast from 9-11 a.m., mixed team vol­ley­ball tour­na­ment 11-6, fam­ily fun games and races - noon-5p.m., a chili cook off and tast­ing - noon -3 p.m., Li­ons BBQ 5-7 p.m., Com­mu­nity bon­fire 7 - 11 p.m. It’s the ul­ti­mate birth­day party. Games, en­ter­tain­ment, free camp­ing and birth­day cake. Please bring your own lawn chairs and re­fresh­ments.

The Al­berta Foun­da­tion for the Arts Trav­el­ling Exhibition is back by pop­u­lar de­mand! Stop by Rock­y­ford Li­brary from June 21 to July 19 to view renowned artist Dan Hudon’s in­ter­ac­tive exhibition. The collection al­lows view­ers to con­tem­plate mem­ory, time, and ev­ery­day life.

The Rock­y­ford Li­brary Pho­tog­ra­phy Club’s next meet­ing is on Thurs­day, June 29, at 6:30 p.m. Join this small but friendly group to share and discuss pho­tos, tech­niques, and chat with other like-minded photographers. Free to at­tend, and please bring pho­tos on a USB stick if you wish to show them.

Reg­is­tra­tion for Rock­y­ford Li­brary’s an­nual drama camp is now open! The camp runs from July 3 – 7; open to ages 4 to 18. This fun sum­mer camp is pre­sented by Cal­gary Young Peo­ple’s Theatre and is a great op­por­tu­nity for kids to en­joy a safe and cre­ative space to freely ex­press them­selves and their ideas.
