The Rockyford Lions Club “Bull-a-Rama” takes place this Friday evening ( June 30). Things get underway with BBQ beef on a bun at 6 p.m., mutton busting at 8:30 p.m. with the bull riding at 9 p.m. Fireworks to celebrate Canada Day will begin at 11 p.m.
Canada 150 Celebration will take place at the rodeo grounds on July 1. The day will get started with a complimentary pancake breakfast from 9-11 a.m., mixed team volleyball tournament 11-6, family fun games and races - noon-5p.m., a chili cook off and tasting - noon -3 p.m., Lions BBQ 5-7 p.m., Community bonfire 7 - 11 p.m. It’s the ultimate birthday party. Games, entertainment, free camping and birthday cake. Please bring your own lawn chairs and refreshments.

The Rockyford Library Photography Club’s next meeting is on Thursday, June 29, at 6:30 p.m. Join this small but friendly group to share and discuss photos, techniques, and chat with other like-minded photographers. Free to attend, and please bring photos on a USB stick if you wish to show them.
