Countdown to summer holidays- just a few days left of the school year- the kids will be happy and free for the summer and are looking forward to it. Remember how long the summers seemed when we were kids? Now summer seems to be over in a jiffy.
Coffee mornings continue at the Delia Drop In Centre for the summer, coffee is served Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting at 9:30, so stop in at the Centre for coffee and a visit with your neighbors. There are no general meetings in July and August, and the next birthday party will happen in September, but if the lights are on Friday afternoon, come in for a game of cards after lunch at 1 p.m.

Activities range from Senior High and Adult Volleyball, Adult Coed Beach Ball, Toddler Mini Sports Camp to Coed Jr. High Volley Ball Camp and more.
The Delia Library and Hanna Golden Prairie Parent Link are trying a new preschool playgroup that explores and encourages children to move and be active through play. Come enjoy being active through activities, crafts, story and songs. June 28, at 1:30 –2:30 in the Delia School playground. Canada Day is only a few days away and there will be major celebrations in many areas this year as it is Canada’s 150th birthday. Go and watch some spectacular fireworks in several of the larger towns this July 1, Celebrate being Canadian!
Happy Birthday to Diana Brewitt on the first of July – now that’s being Canadian! Irene Arnold will be celebrating her special day on the 6th of July. Have an awesome special day- and have a great summer!!
