On F ri­day at 4:00 p.m. c ome me et t he train a s it ar rives in Big V al­ley pr oudly fly ing t he M étis flags t hen en joy tra­di­tional danc­ing, mu­si­cians, sto­ry­tell- ing and snacks at Big Val­ley’s Ju­bilee Hall on Main Street.

Satur­day’s ac tiv­i­ties b egin with br eak­fast a t 8:30 a .m. fol­lowed by t he 10:00 a .m. open­ing c er­e­mony a t t he Ju­bilee Hall. En­joy horse drawn Red River Cart rides, try your hand a t sa sh we aving, b ead­ing, capote and drum mak­ing, or fid­dle le ssons, or t ake part in t he b an­nock mak ing c on­test and t he chil­dren’s games and crafts. Wrap up the day’s ac­tiv­i­ties a t t he supp er and dance be­gin­ning at 5:30 p.m. at the Ju­bilee Hall.

On Sunda yt he V oy­ager games be­gin at 8:30 a .m., the church ser­vice is at 10:00 a.m. and there will be a tal­ent con­test from 12:00 no on till 4:00 p.m. f ea­tur­ing jigg ing, singing, fid­dling and prizes.
