Due t o dr y c on­di­tions, t he Town of Dr umheller ha s is - sued a fire ad­vi­sory.

Ef­fec­tive Tues­day, July 18, a fire adv isory ha s b een im ple­mented by the Town of Drumheller F ire D epart­ment. This ad­vi­sory r ep­re­sents a MOD­ER­ATE FIRE RISK.

With this ad­vi­sory, No burn­ing is per­mit­ted in­side the cor­po­rate lim­its of the town. This ad­vi­sory shall re­main in ef­fect un­til r es­cinded by F ire Chief Bruce Wade.

Ex­emp­tions to the fire ad­vi­sory are as fol­lows: •Incin­er­a­tors f or f arm and acreage use •In­ter­nal house­hold fire­places •Camp stoves, solid/liq­uid fuel bar­be­cues and bri­quettes • Recre­ational/ res­i­den­tial camp fires com­pli­ant with By­law 16-10 •Chime­neas •Fires c on­tained w ithin a pproved fa­cil­i­ties •Ap­pli­ances in de sig­nated camp­ing/recre­ation ar­eas

Drumheller Fire Chief Bruce Wade has is­sued a fire ad­vi­sory for the Town of Drumheller.
