Hello and here we are into the last week of July. The hot weather is nice to a point but the crops desperately need a good, gentle rain. Some are turning ripe already but need moisture to fill the heads.
Birthday greetings for August go to: Alec Bergos and Darcy Mueller 7th, Cheryle Ferguson 14th, Crystal Ferguson 21st, Reagan Mueller and Alice Moar 22nd. Anniversary greetings go to: Donald and Sheri Mueller 10th.
This past week Blaine and Crystal Ferguson, Brad and Joycelyn Sorenson, Lloyd Beaton and Darryl Johnson took a short holiday to Whitefish and Flat Head Lake in Montana on their motorbikes for a fun and relaxing time before they start the harvest season. Very hot but a good time. Coming back over Logan’s Pass, there was still snow at the top. A person doesn’t get much higher up than that but nice scenery.
This past Monday I was in Calgary to renew my passport. Don’t know where I might go but hope to get to Arizona later this fall. I love to travel and hope to do it as long as possible.
That seems to be it for this week. I must compliment the folks who look after the park at the lights by Yavis’s. Such a great improvement over what was there before.
