Drag­ons add to coach­ing staff

The build­ing process con­tin­ues as the Drumheller Drag­ons add an­other face to its hockey op­er­a­tions staff. On July 10, the team an­nounced it added Tyler Hof­mann to its staff.

The Vilna, Al­berta na­tive re­cently grad­u­ated from the Uni­ver­sity of Cal­gary with Dis­tinc­tion from the Bach­e­lor of Ki­ne­si­ol­ogy pro­gram, ma­jor­ing in Ath­letic ther­apy.

“We are thrilled to add Tyler to the Hockey Op­er­a­tions Team,” said coach Kevin Has­sel­berg. “Tyler takes prepa­ra­tion very se­ri­ously, he brings a lot of en­thu­si­asm, and has a tremen­dous work ethic.

He achieved ex­cel­lence while in Uni­ver­sity mak­ing the Dean’s List at Mount Royal Uni­ver­sity, grad­u­at­ing with Dis­tinc­tion from Uni­ver­sity of Cal­gary, and be­ing awarded one of only 50 New Re­la­tion­ship Trust Un­der­grad­u­ate Schol­ar­ships.”
