UC Party or­ga­nize Con­stituency As­so­ci­a­tion

The Drumheller–Stet­tler United Con­ser­va­tive Party (UCP) Con­stituency As­so­ci­a­tion has elected its first pres­i­dent to or­ga­nize in the area.

On Fri­day, Septem­ber 8, the Drumheller-Stet­tler UPC Con­stituency As­so­ci­a­tion board of di­rec­tors held their found­ing meet­ing in Hanna. The legacy party di­rec­tors elected the board ex­ec­u­tive to start guid­ing the rid­ing as­so­ci­a­tion to­wards vic­tory in the next provin­cial elec­tion.

Newly elected CA Presi- dent David Mohl chaired the meet­ing that saw the Pro­gres­sive Con­ser­va­tive and Wil­drose legacy boards come to­gether to es­tab­lish a more vi­brant and ef­fec­tive con­ser­va­tive Con­stituency As­so­ci­a­tion.

“This is an op­por­tu­nity to move to­wards a new and stronger Alberta by com­ing to­gether and cre­at­ing a sta­ble Con­ser­va­tive choice for Al­ber­tans,” said Mohl. “I’m hum­bled to be cho­sen as the Pres­i­dent of this as­so­ci­a­tion and will en­deav­our to work with the mem­bers of this board to­wards our com­mon goal.”
