The St. Rita’s Turkey Sup­per and Bazaar will take place on Fri­day, Novem­ber 3, from 5-7 p.m. at the Rock­y­ford Com­mu­nity Cen­tre. Along with the de­li­cious meal, there will be a cash raf­fle, a fish pond for the kids and a craft/bake ta­ble. It’s a fun filled event for the en­tire fam­ily. Please mark your cal­en­dars.

The Curl­ing Club’s Oys­ter and Ham Sup­per will be on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 20 from 5:30 - 7p.m. at the Com­mu­nity Cen­tre. Their An­nual Gen­eral Meet­ing will fol­low sup­per. Ev­ery­one is wel­come to at­tend and new mem­bers are needed.

Soup Day at the Friend­ship Cen­tre is Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 11 from noon to 1 p.m. Soup, buns, dessert and tea/cof­fee.

The Foot Nurse will be at the Friend­ship Cen­tre on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 27. To book an ap­point­ment, please give Gail a call at 533-2411. Rock­y­ford United Church cel­e­brates 95 years in the com­mu­nity. You are in­vited to cel­e­brate on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 22. Wor­ship Ser­vice is at 10:30 a.m. with a lun­cheon to fol­low. Paint Night in the Vil­lage cel­e­brates the up­com­ing Hal­lowe’en night on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 25, be­gin­ning at 7:00 p.m. We have a par­tic­u­larly fun acrylic pro­ject for all skill lev­els. Visit the li­brary to see a copy of what you can cre­ate. In­struc­tion and all sup­plies are in­cluded in reg­is­tra­tion. Reg­is­ter at the Rock­y­ford Li­brary be­fore 8:00 p.m., Oc­to­ber 19, as spe­cial can­vasses must be pur­chased for this ses­sion.
