Greetings to all. There are no anniversaries in November but there are a few birthdays going out to: Grayson Moar 5th, Bradley McGhee 18th, Kolton Mueller and Keara McGhee 26th. I hope all of you have a good day.
The winds this past week have done damage again to some places. My neighbour has a large portion of fence in the back yard blown over that required a great deal of work to fix. I had trouble in the parking lot at Freson Bros. getting into the store and then coming out was being blown across the lot until I got to a parked car to hang onto until a man came out of the store and helped me back to my car. It was scary to say the least and my thanks to the man who helped me. Sorry I didn’t get your name.
Watching the World Series is great entertainment and exhausting with so much drama and extra innings. It is one of the more exciting series for a long time. By the time you read this the series could be over, ending in L.A. on Tuesday.
It is soon Remembrance Day on November 11 so wear your poppy and plan to attend the service. It is such a small thing for us to do to honour those who did so much more and are still doing service for our country.
If you have been watching football lately, you must wonder, as I am, what is going on with the Stampeders. They seem to have forgotten what they are to do. Calgary has another back up player who can throw passes and move the team for yardage but the coaches seem to have forgotten about him. He couldn’t do anything worse than Bo Levi. Just a comment from another arm-chair coach.
Here’s something from English and history teacher’s file of “goodies”: Solomon, one of David’s sons, had 500 wives and 500 porcupines.
Have a good week.
