Morrin 4-H Multi Club begins new year
On October 2, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. the Morrin 4-H Multi Club held its first general meeting of the year.
At the meeting, members who had attended 4-H Summer Camps reported about their experiences.
The club discussed their program plans and selected dates for the 2017/18 year.
The club also decided on membership dues. Some of the plans for the year include a monthly general meeting, Christmas Party, Public Speaking, Club Ski Trip, Recycling Day and Achievement Night.
The new executive was elected and includes, Danielle Varga taking the presidential seat, Mesha Olsen as vicepresident, Alia Nielsen as secretary, Samuel Gridley as treasurer, Ashley McNaughton as Historian, Lilly Robison as reporter, Serena Michie as District Council Representative, and Kenton McNaughton as the District Council Representative.
Our club leader is Melanie Nelson, who has lead the club for four years.
This year we have 22 4-H members and six cleavers. The projects for our club include equine, canine, photography, sports adventure, archery, cleavers, individual slam poetry, and individual foods.
We would like to thank the community for their continued support especially with our annual Recycle Drive in April. The club looks forward to a fun and exciting year!
