Christmas is over, we waited so long and it was over too quickly. The family have all gone home, the tree is down and the house is in order , but does it ever seem quiet and lonesome! If you still have your family living at home, rejoice! They grow up and life changes in an instant. Count your blessings.
You can tell it’s winter in Delia- temperatures in the minus thirties and a fresh centimeter or more of snow every night – I always heard it wouldn’t snow if the weather was bitterly cold. Guess that myth was wrong.
A survey is being circulated to ascertain if there is interest in offering an exercise program geared toward the needs of seniors and people living with chronic illness. Please contact Clare Carson or sign the sheets displayed at the Drop In Centre or the Delia Coffee Shop. In order to proceed with this endeavour we need to know the level of commitment and interest.
