The Dragons st arted t he sec­ond half of the sea­son on the right foot with a 2-1 win over the Oil­ers. On Fri­day, De­cem­ber 29, t he Dragons wer e in Oko­toks to take on t he Oil­ers and t hey dom­ina ted from be­gin­ning to end. The Dragons out­shot Oko­toks 16-4 in the first pe­riod and took a 1-0 lead just 51 s econds in w ith a go al from T yson S cott, a ssisted by Cla y K ee­ley and C ar­son Kurylo.

The Oil­ers tied it up in the sec­ond p eriod, but Jor dan Tau­pert s cored t he w in­ner 7:41 in to t he t hird p eriod, unas­sisted.

Tem­pers flared at the end of t he g ame r esult­ing in a game mis con­duct f or N ate Kee­ley. The Dragons were back on the ice on Tues­day, Jan­uary 2, re­sults not avail­able at press time and w ill be back home Fri­day, Jan­uary 5, to take on the Can­more Ea­gles.


The Dragons started off on the right foot af­ter the Christ­mas break with a 2-1 road win over Oko­toks.
