We were very sorry to hear of t he p ass­ing of a f ormer Delia r es­i­dent, E ve­lyn B at­tle, who p assed away dur ing t he hol­i­day sea­son, in Leth­bridge.

Eve­lyn served as the Ad­min­is­tra­tor for the Vil­lage of Delia for many years, as well as op­er­at­ing t he E sso st ation w ith her hus­band, Russ Bat­tle. Eve­lyn w as pr ede­ceased by her hus­band Russ and s on, Gary. Sin­cere sym­pa­thy of the com­mu­nity goes out to her mother and two da ughters, who sur­vive her , a s we ll a s man y rel­a­tives and a host of friends. Rest in p eace, Eve­lyn, we w ill miss you.

The gen­eral me et­ing a t t he Dr op In will be on Thurs­day morn­ing, Jan­uary 11, a t 9:30 a .m. Kim Thomp­son will be at the Cen­tre at 10:30 to speak to us, be sure to join us for that.
