Happy New Year everyone.
The Rockyford Curling Club will be having a meeting to discuss the future of their Club on Friday, January 12, 2018 starting at 7:30 p.m., upstairs in the curling rink. Community support is encouraged and everyone is welcome to attend.
Good luck to the Rockyford Roughnecks Atom hockey team who will be hosting their home tournament this coming weekend ( January 12-14).
The Rockyford Lions Club presents the “Trail of 98” dance on Saturday, February 10 starting at 8 p.m. at the Community Centre. The Beard competition started on January 1. Tickets will be sold at the door.
Save the date for St. Rita’s 100th Anniversary celebration. It will be held on June 16, 2018 and everyone is most welcome to attend. More information on this will be provided as the date draws near.
This year’s Annual Rockyford “Ladies Spring Gala” will be held on Saturday, May 12. The theme this year will be a “Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball”. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 6, 2018. Please watch for further information.
Congratulations to Julia Newell (daughter of Tamara and Pat Newell) who is this years Rockyford Lions Club scholarship recipient. Julia is currently enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan taking her Bachelor of Science and Agriculture degree.
