It seems everyone had a busy holiday season with company or being away. The Ferguson family had their annual family gathering Christmas Eve and their immediate family Christmas Day. Their New Year’s was just family.

The Mueller’ s had all the family home for Christmas except Maddy who is in Australia for the next several months with her work and Donald and Sheri had a quiet New Year’s.

Mike and Judy Borwick left before Christmas to go to Rossland to Holly’ s where they enjoyed Holly and cousin Meaghan doing the cooking. Their weather was much warmer than here so they did some skiing and hiking. Holly came back with them for a few days as she w as attending a wedding for a girlfriend from Three Hills.

Donna Wilton had Jordan and his lady friend Mikayle here for a week which she enjoyed. Mikayle lives in Vancouver and Jordan lives and works in Kelowna. Colleen was home of course and Boxing Day they were all at Ca land Debbie Werner’ s in the Hand Hills. Sister Linda and hubby Gary from Calgary were there too and their son Ross and wife Karly from Vancouver so, it was a lot of la ughs I’m sure. For New Year’s, Donna and Colleen were in Calgary at Chris and Karen’s so a busy time for all.

John and Wanda Mo ar were home for Christmas but miss ed having Te anna home as she and Kirsty Bell were holiday in gin Amsterdam and Holland. During the holidays, Wand a was in Swift Current to spend New Year’s with her mother. All the university and college students are back to the grind.

The Bell’s were in Strath more with Kathy’s folks for Christmas and on the 28th were in Gleichen at her br other’s. For New Year’s they were in Calgary to see Rob and Steven and families.

My Christmas was busy with Roberta, grand daughter from Le th bridge, and friend Marc from near St. Paul, coming on December 23, grand daughter Trish and Adam Pigeon and girls Eva, Her a, Gemma and Lex a came on t he 24th from St . Paul and Christmas Eve grand daughter Meaghan West and sons Jack and Cooper as well as my son Rick and his s ons Matt and Jayden. Some of the Beiseker and Airdrie folks were back Christmas day for a short visit and Laurie and Ken from La mont were here for a short visit Boxing Day. During the week, Marjorie Carter f rom Edmonton and her daughters Danielle, Ch erie and Katisha from Red Deer, as well as her brother Don from Calgary stopped for a short visit.

They had been to Hanna to visit mother Be a Carter in hospital. I had a few days rest and on the 28 th, grandson Chad Keichinger, Catherine and daughter Cassie and friend Cosette from Weyburn, Sk., came as well as Matt and Jayden. We rang my big bell in the back yard at midnight which has been a tradition in the Currie family since 1950.

Allin all, a great holiday time with late nights, card games and fun. A love ly way to start a ne w year.

Have a good week and the weather is still going to be a temperamental thing. Dress warm
