There will be an 85th birthday Celebration for Edmund Vogstad on Saturday, April 28 at the Dalum Hall! The event starts at 3:00 p.m. Dinner will be at 4:30 p.m. and the Band will be playing at 5:00 p.m. All Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Proud grandparents Marvin and Donna Sevcik attended the Drumheller music festival to watch their oldest granddaughter Suzanne compete. She performed in both piano (under 15) and with the Strathmore Choir where she sang a solo. She will travel to Edmonton later this spring to perform in both categories.
Also, proud dad and grandma Jeff and Linda Epp attended the festival to watch Paul Epp perform. He sang O Canada and also sang a solo with Saint Anthony’s School choir.
Laura Peake also performed at the Drumheller Music Festival singing a solo. Great Work everyone.
Congratulations to Jacquelyn Sandum in being awarded highest marks in Solo Jazz Dance in the 12 – 16 age category at the festival as well. The Sandum girls are very busy with all their spring competitions in Stettler, Olds, Camrose and Drumheller.
Linda Epp had a niece and her three daughters visit from La Crete, over Easter.

Welcome to the community is Brady and Jessica Kaiser. Brady was born and raised his Hussar and they have moved back to the farm to raise their children Paisley and Finn. Welcome back to Hussar from Strathmore Kaisers.
Don and Kay Fraser travelled to Spruce Grove with Jamie and Dee to watch grandson Griffen in hockey provincials the weekend of March 29 to April 1. The boys lost out to the host team in the final game coming home with a silver medal.
Hussar Community would like to send their condolences to Bev Sanders and the rest of the family on the recent passing of Norm Sanders. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday April 14, at the Hussar Community Hall at 2:00
A few couples from Hussar enjoyed supper, live and silent auction, and entertainment at the Bassano Hall to support the Bassano Curling Club Fundraiser. A good time was had by all as well as a successful evening for the Curling Club.
Wheatland Crossing welcomes back students after their Spring Break. Now the countdown is on until summer, 55 school days left for Elementary and even less for Jr/ Sr High. Badminton Counties: Wheatland Crossing will send Senior High kids on April 18 and Junior High students on April 19.
